Voters are turning out en mass tonight at polling stations across the country to cast their votes. Despite initial problems with polling stations opening late, voting has now begun and early results are expected by the end of tonight. There are only two candidates this time around: Cieran, the current Environment & Transport Secretary, is standing for the Boo Party, while Pokemaniac John, the current Opposition Leader, is standing for the F+V=P Party. Commentators believe this election to be a close one - past voting practices would point to a Boo party victory, but with a sudden surge in support for the main opposition party and opinion polls showing that trust in the current government has fallen, it is at the moment unclear who will win this election.
