I don't like Cameron anyway.Well, I can't say it's a shock, given he called it off after it being (to quote Cameron) "guaranteed he'd win" and letting it go on for so long. That said, given Cameron invented fifty new ideas a minute before to gain some support, he's such a wonderful example of how to not look silly.

Parliament. I'm glad he aborted the election. It was a good idea. It stopped the tories from getting in office (sorry CC0, I'm liking Brown more and more. He reminds me of us; the Boo Party). |

I think Brown's reputation has really been damaged by all this. Allowing speculation to build up and then bottling it, stealing Tory policies, faking the opening of a hospital... Brown's been in office for only a few months and already his government is on the defensive. I doubt he'll get a second term. |

I don't think Brown will be able to turn this massive disadvantage around. After all Brown's no Cameron |

Stupid being tired. ![]() Cameron gains popularity based on claiming he can change things and making up fake policies. Anyone can gain popularity via that. |

Brown's shot himself in the foot again. At PMQs he said that there was clearly no demand for an election as only 26 people had signed a petition on the downing street website. Since then, the number of signatures has risen to 12,722.

It's still only 12,000 out of 60,000,000. Even granted that only 60% vote, that's still 40,000,000... |

Yeah but you're never going to get a petition signed by the entire electorate, are you? On a side note, it now stands at 13,321. *looks forward to next PMQs*
