THE EXILIAN ECHO

Major breakthrough in War on Terror!

The Exilian Counter Terrorist Force had a significant breakthrough in its operations yesterday when the Exilian Submarine HMS Crusader discovered the Democratian Headquarters of Boo Labs, a known front for the terrorist organisation Boo Partyea. Upon investigation by divers the labs were found nearly completely intact and the Exilian Counter Terrorist Force were able to use the information they found to make several arrests and siezures both in the Outlandish Archapelligo and the Colonies. The leader of Boo Partyea, Boohistory is still uncaptured and is suspected to have gone into hiding. HRH King Zog II was said to be pleased with the news.

Wine Shortages rock nation!

Prices of Exilian red skyrocketed to over £60 a bottle yesterday in most major stores. The reasons behind this is not clear although analysts have claimed that a poor wine crop may have caused a lack of wine in the shops and a study released monday outlining the numerous benifits of drinking Exilian wine caused unheard of sales through to friday when stocks fell short of demand. The Confederation of Exilian Vineyard Owners said that as the Outlandish vine season had passed all wine would have to be sourced from the colonies and so it will be several weeks until supply problems are resolved

Design for new Privy Council chamber opened to all architechts!

The race for who gets to design the new Privy Council chambers became a lot fairer yesterday as HRH King Zog II declared the process open to all architects. Taking advantage of a bad situation His Majesty decided to make the new Council chambers a showcase of Contemporary Exilian Architecture. The Shortlist of designs will be chosen by a committee in a month's time with His Majesty personally selecting the winning design.

Note how the news that an entire Exilian Counter Terrorist force was wiped out by GLaBOOS when they tried it at Boo Labs' Ostentian wing, somehow missed mention in the news. Especially as it was an aggressive manouver by a foreign country. Though as Exilia doesn't officially exist yet, we can't do anything.

Those Exilians are sly like bananas... but not sly enough for cake-obsessed, homicidal super-computers!

Incorrect. GLaBOOS does in fact run ON water as its source of electricity ^_^. As well as being attached to the national grid. If we have one. Well, anyway, it's got power...

Quite true. Though I won't deny GLaBOOS has a weakness. It's just not water. Got a good singing voice too.

There isn't one. We only built the Ostentian one a few weeks ago. I don't know what you're thinking of.

Yet more unreliable news from the Echo...

If they ever printed anything true, I'd be tempted to change the simulation out of spite. :P

That said, I'm glad the media forum's been such a success, and that we now have two regular newspapers.

*raises glass*

A toast to the Lamp Post and the Echo! May their circulations be large and their competitions free from scandal!

Though I note you don't add "biased" to that. Though that would be stupid as both have already proved they're not.

And if they are they aren't very good at it.
