THE EXILIAN ECHO Shock in the city as Financial Regulators hand down largest fine in history! There was shock for the shareholders of ExxoSmithKline today in the city as it emerged that the regulator of the medical industry gave it the largest fine known in the world. The fine itself was the result of a weeks long investigation into the Calluna scandal and how it came to pass. ExxoSmithKline initially refused to co-operate with the investigation until forced to do so under Counter-Terrorism laws. The investigators discovered that ExxoSmithKline had been aiding Boo Labs in the manufacture and distribution of Calluna throughout Exilia. The fine was so large it required Royal Assent under the Financial Regulations Act of 1993. Along with the £1billion fine the Regulator also forced the entire board to resign and be replaced. The regulator anounced that the fine would be payed in installments in order for ExxoSmithKline to remain in buisiness. Stocks fell less than feared after the announcement that ExxoSmithKline would be protected from bankruptcy. Royal Exploration team returns unsucessful The Royal Explorers returned to Exa today having found very little in their month long expidition. The explorers had been sent on an ocean voyage from the Outlandish Archepelligo to find new lands but only succeded in finding out that theres a lot of ocean in the world. The only other discoveries the team made was a small island with lots of birds on it and that the Outlandish Archepelligo is in fact one island. King Zog was not discouraged and stated that Exilia would continue in its quest to discover the world. Divers rediscover Autocratian Grand Library! In a major breakthrough for Exilian Historians the Democratia Salvage Corporation announced that its divers had rediscovered the original Autocratian Grand Library. The Library itself was lost due to unknown means during the Age of Ignorance but has resurfaced after Democratia sank beneath the waves. Historians hope that the materials inside the library could expand our knowledge of Autocratia, the Age of Ignorance and possible the world itself if maps have survived within. So... Exilia are claiming that the lost Autocracian Library is theirs? It belongs to Democratia and it's people! EXILIA ARE THIEVES. DO NOT SUPPORT THE EXILIAN GOVERNMENT. VOTE FOR THE EXILIAN WING OF THE BOO PARTY! |
