Parliament has been dissolved, MPs have been locked out of their offices and the media are tense: once again, a general election is taking place. Although in many ways this election is an echo of the previous one, with the same two candidates standing for the same two parties, there is aprehension in the air as neither party is certain of the outcome. The government only just secured a victory at the previous election, and there is concern that they may have been weakened by the budget crisis. However, commentators are divided on the issue of whether or not this will be enough to secure a Boo party victory. One thing is clear though - after the election, the losing party is likely to have questions raised about its future... |

Mister Speaker

What makes you think that? It could well end up winning a future election. Or doing very well in opposition. Or both. |

If the Boo party loses, then it will have lost 3 elections in a row. After that, there would certainly be questions about its future. If the F&V=P party loses, I think that there's a considerable chance that it could disintegrate. |

WAIT!!! I declare corruption of the Speaker! The election was scheduled to be ended at midnight, 5th of November, AND YET, the election results have already been called. I demand a recount! |

What are you talking about? The election results haven't been called anywhere, apart from by you which doesn't count. |

Results of seats may be called before the final deadline, as voting times are staggered in some constituencies. However, voting for the prime minister will not end until midnight, and the results will not be called until then. |
