The Apeiron Argus (The Replicators will easily overrun our galaxy in a matter of weeks) Election Coverage! Ostentia is currently in a voting frenzy as the 4th national elections begin. Today has already been a day for surprises, and the Argus exclusively reveals several of the results so far: The votes cast in the election for the Member of Parliament for Mentagnus, Boondoxia, are as follows: Mapel Smith, Inoffensive Capitalist Party, 1679 votes. Boohistory, Boo Party, 20,785 votes. Deliah Sevile, Independent Boondoxia Party, 11,456. The results for the Member of Parliament for Apeiron are: Anex Iliaspy, Moderate Exilian Party, 1 vote. Inevitable, Boo Party, 25,987 votes. John Feladaya, Unity Party, 5645 votes. The Spring Hill constituency’s Member of Parliament votes are as follows: Master Dingley, Boo Party, 9790 votes. Pokemaniac John, F&V=P Party, 17,651 votes. Eve Ilad Ming, Conservatory Party, 13,124 votes. A surprise turn-around there with the Boo Party gaining a significant portion over the votes. Far more than ever before. The votes cast for the Member of Parliament for Lemora are: HRH King Zog II, F&V=P Party, 14,872 votes. Christopher Mills, Hypnotoad Party, ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD 14,901 votes. Ten Thousand Fists, Psychotic Sheep Party, 10,000 votes. A surprise victory for THE HYPNOTOAD, who's party wins the seat. Eronam Elsewhere? The University of Aurora recently began an exchange with the University of Aurucit, capital of Empthrinia in order to learn more about the various cultures of the two nations. The group sent from Aurora hope to do some historical research to determine if Empthrinian records can shed light on some of the events that took place during the Dark Ages. They will also be looking for references to the Eronam Empire, which controlled the Ostentian Peninsula over 2000 years ago. The Eronam Empire’s origin and activities outside of Ostentia remain a mystery and, as such, and findings will be of great interest to historians. It’s possible, however, that the Empthrinians were never part of the empire, as the Eronam forces did not attack from Fondrop, and indeed were not adept at desert warfare. Empthrinia is primarily desert landscape. Boorg go the way of the Daleks! Earlier this week, the Boo Party announced that, due to their unpopularity, the Boorg forces under their control would be decommissioned. This led many to believe that a return of the Communist Daleks was lined up. The Apeiron Argus, however, can reveal exclusively that they will be replaced with Boo Labs newest creation: The Boo Replicator. Claiming to be a massive upgrade on even the Boorg, a standard Replicator consists of a number of “blocks”, each containing over two million isolated Kiron pathways, and functions much like an individual computer. The blocks can self-assemble into various larger forms, commonly a “spider” shape. They are impervious to energy based weaponry, and are capable of minimal repair functions when damaged by projectiles. Only a handful of blocks are needed to utilise surrounding metals to replicate and create more blocks. Offensively, they rely on nothing more than these facts, and the ability to spray a powerful acid substance. All blocks are connected wirelessly in a network and are capable of assimilating technology and augmenting it beyond the original specifications. Boo Labs have assured us that each block is tied into subservience of a GLaBOOS system and that there is no chance of rebellion. Below is an exclusive image of a Boo Replicator: ![]() The Apeiron Argus - As part of a required test protocol, we will not monitor the next election. You will be entirely on your own. Good luck!
