Headlines Today: Boo Party Wins Election! -Pokemaniac John The Boo Party have now been brought to power once more, with 55.56% of the votes. The other 44.44% went to F&V=P Party™ leader Pokemaniac John, who is now expected to form the opposition. The cabinet appointments have now been announced, along with the fact that Prime Minister Inevitable will "personally be undertaking a recruitment campaign in the coming term to boost our glorious number." In Other News: Lama On The Loose! -Pokemaniac John Police are currently attempting to track down a Llama belonging to Lord Topper, a Posh Toff we interviewed in issue four. The Llama, named Modus, is a rare breed, and worth several thousand hemre. Because of this, the police expect a lama-napping. While Modus would get the culprits a lot sold on the black market, the police suspect ransom is more likely. Lord Topper was too distressed to give a comment, though his wife, Lady Topper, said that "199 of our 200 butlers and maids are searching for that Llama. And they're armed with razor sharp triangles of tiffin, so whoever took him had better watch out!". Rain Has Citizens Down; Experts Reccomend Singing -Pokemaniac John It has been raining almost non-stop for several days now in some areas along the Western Spine, and many members of the public wish it would stop. Mr. M. Israble said that "This rain really gets you down! I can't even go to the pub without getting soaked!" Ms. P. Terpatter, on the other hand, enjoys this wet weather. She told us that "This rain is great! My two young children really enjoy going outside with their wellies and raincoats on to splash around in puddles, and it gives me an excuse to relax with a hot chocolate rather than going out to garden." Experts have reccomended that those who don't enjoy the rain and can't afford a holiday try singing. "Singing in the rain is a whole load of fun! Why not try singing Singing in the Rain in the rain? It's just amazing!" Says Prof. S. Ing. Weekly Lamp Post™ Of Ostentia, © Pokemaniac John Publishing ltd. All rights reserved. |
