Dear Firefox users, After installing Firefox on my computer so that I can check the cross-broswer compatability of the codes I'm installing on my test Zetaboard, it has come to my attention that the skin on this site has a minor (but ugly) glitch when displayed in Firefox. In Firefox, the submenu bar at the top (help, search etc.) doesn't display correctly. I apologise for this (although it would have been helpful if you'd pointed it out) and will attempt to fix the situation as soon as possible. You'll be pleased to hear that the problem is not present in the Zeta skin. Yours, Commoncold0, Forum Administrator PS: I do not apologise for my support of IE7 in the IE v Firefox debate, nor will I ever do so. PPS: Why is the text in firefox so small? I feel like I'm using IE6 again... |

The text is exactly the same size 0_o. Firefox: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p17/Cieran91/mpff.png IE: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p17/Cieran91/mpie.png I see very little difference... CC0: Please don't stretch the page. |

*does own investigations* Ah, I see. In IE7, the text is blended with the background color, so the outline is softer, so the contrast is less and the text appears larger. |

Trust me though, while FF2 may have some issues, FF3 will blow all current browsers out of the water. Yes, even Opera :D... |

I'd argue against that, but I don't know yet whether IE8 will run on XP...

The only feature of IE8 currently being touted is that it supports the Acid2 test. Big whoop, Opera and FF3b2 can do that -_-... |

Just be grateful that it does. Let's face it: if the IE designers turned around and said "stuff this, we're going to make our own web standards" then they would eventually win, simply because they have a majority of the market, meaning that the majority of web designers would design for IE. Of course, the Internet would probably get wrecked in the process... |

Don't bother CC0. I argued long and hard with Cieran about why you shouldn't bother using FF. He just didn't get it... |

The only reason I use Firefox is because IE causes my decade old machine to have some sort of small heart attack and fails to work properly/at all |
