The region is in uproar tonight as relations between Ostentia and the newly discovered country of Wo tonight as the government refused to recognise the ambassador from Wo. There were dramatic scenes in Epiphany as the ambassador and his staff were escorted by armed guards to the international airport, where they boarded a private plane to the Wolish capital of Wollantine. The plane was escorted out of Ostentian airspace by fighter jets. Rumours that a second ambassador from another country was also expelled have yet to be confirmed. Wo has responded angrily to this move, immediatly imposing a ban on all trade with companies based in Ostentia - however, as contact with Wo has only been recent, this gesture is largely symbolic. However, the outrage in Wo should not be understimated: Wo's Prime Minister, Stephen Ittima, described Ostentia's actions as a "severe blow to regional stability" while Patriarch Diligence XXIII, worldwide leader of the Church of Wo and Wo's head of state, denounced the Ostentian Government as an "agent of evil". There has also been outcry in Fondrop where the Archbishop of Jayakar, leader of the Church of Wo in Ostentia, has demanded that the government immediatly apologise for its behaviour and reopen links with Wo. The government has not yet responded. |

The reasons behind this action was made perfectly clear to the ambassador: At this stage, we do not want to pursue relations with a country so deeply involved in the Nellapalese international crisis due to the risk it represents to existing relations with other countries We still hope relations can be built in the future, but for now we believe this to be the best course of action. ~Inevitable, Prime Minister and recently voted Agent of Evil of the Year. |

No it's not. What you're doing is supporting a dictatorship - Aspar (equivalent to Mugabe) - against a perfectly reasonable democracy - Wo. |

Quite so. And according to Inevitable, Aspar has no evidence to back up it's claims. |
