Captured Explorers Released!

Wo has tonight released the team of Ostentian explorers that it captured after the breakdown in diplomacy last month. An official from the Wolish government stated that "We have found little evidence that these explorers were committing espionage, and so we have decided to release them". The Wolish government then went on to praise the new Ostentian government for its revised attitudes toward Wo and the Church of Wo. Pokemaniac John's government has already made a significant impact on foreign relations, and his actions appear to be popular with voters.

However, it's not all good news. The Ostentian Stock Market fell today after Aspar announced that discussions about a trade treaty had collapsed. Economists have warned that this latest move may worsen the declining fortunes of Ostentian industry.

A trade treaty with Aspar would have been unfair and damaging to Ostentian industry as well as made through coercion.

Thus we declined Aspar's kind offer.

So they actually coerced us then? They actually intimidated or forced us to make a decision?
