There are sounds of celebration in Government HQ tonight as the latest polls revealed that government popularity has reached dizzying heights. Our reporters overheard the foreign secretary, HRH King Zog II, exclaiming "Fools! They are so dumbstruck by their admiration for us that we can get away with murder! In fact, we will get away with murder! Bwahahahahaaa!". A government spokesman later denied that this comment had been spoken. In other news, the rail strike was called off tonight as new legislation granted workers a lucrative bonus scheme. Some experts fear though that this decision may embolded other trade unions. |
