The regional government of the Northern Isles has tonight passed legislation allowing a referendum to be held on the issue of independance. The date chosen for the referendum is the day after the Ostentian general election, which experts believe has been designed to catch a new or returning government "off-guard". This decision comes despite actions taken by the national government to try and make independance impossible. |
