Crisis of Confidence in Government

There was outrage and anger tonight as it emerged that the government had repeatedly failed to answer questions in parliament, despite its constitutional requirement to do so. This latest action has open the fllodgates to a whole string of allegations about politicians' behaviour, with polls showing that trust in the government is at an all time low. This has serious consequences - not only does it open the way for a vote of no confidence in the commons, but it has also created pessimism in the general public, with many now believing that the state of the country is worse than it actually is. The government is in for some turbulent times.

Quoted for truth.

Your reminders to the FVPs last term were, as you said yourself, on the kind side. Yet you give us absolutly nothing.

Sorry, but that's not true. At no point I give any warning to the F&V=P Party last term about parliamentary questions.

Wait... that was the wrong way round, ignore the previous statement.

Though it doesn't void the fact that you repeatedly warned them.

Oh, and that environment rating makes no sense. How do questions change it?

Besides, it's still overfunded.

Again, not true. I gave them no warnings. I haven't been giving governments warnings on questions for months now.

And the environment rating fell by the same as all the other ratings did due to the pessimism. It went into the red because it was low to start with.

This would be because there weren't any questions.

And these are hardly unusual questions - they're the basic start-of-term ones

Again... what are you talking about? Questions were asked in every topic last term - and all were answered except for Spartan's, which led to Pokemaniac John being forced to sack him.
