Inevitable has been elected as the new Prime Minster of Ostentia by the narrowest of margins. The Boo Party have not managed to gain an outright majority in these elections, with all three of the other main parties gaining a large portion of votes. There are fears that the Boo Party will face fierce opposition from all three parties. It is expected that Inevitable will form his next government soon. In other news, the Northern Isles Separatist party leader left the mainland of Ostentia early today in high spirits. he said he was pleased with his accomplishments during the elections and intended to call another referendum on independence soon. With the Boo Party in such a weak position, there are concerns within the government that they may be successful. |

Grrr... I would have thought that Toby Allander would have too much work to do as Governor to have time to go around gloating. <_< |

Not the Northern Isles again... This problem has been dealt with in 3 different ways by 2 different governments and it still comes back? When do we get a new crisis? |

Actually, the first referendum voted yes, but it was by such a narrow margin that even the Separatist Party conceded that it wasn't adaquate grounds for declaring independance. |
