Mr Speaker, over the past week we have seen a shocking deterioration of the security situation in the Northern Isles, yet the only responses we've had from the government are vague claims that they are working on "very important matters". At the same time, we have seen leaks to government-friendly newspapers regarding the incidents, including that of information not yet confirmed by the government itself. The government has not yet acted, and seems to be treating this whole crisis as a mere media oppurtunity. I am sure that the whole house will agree with me that this is a sorry state of affairs.

Therefore,

"I move that this house condemn the government's failures to act over the Northern Isles Crisis"

At the risk of sounding cliched...

Crisis? What Crisis?

As for the Argus getting the scoop, well, it's Boondoxian related, the Argus is an Apeiron shareholders in Boo Media, and we were both involved in the incident with Lamont, it's our best bet. If the Lamp Post or Herald wishes to interview either of us, they're welcome to...

Mr Speaker, following the government's new approach to the Northern Isles issue, I happily withdraw this motion.
