And I'm a centrist really who is actually closer to Obama than McCain (considerably, in fact) but who doesn't tie his ideology to any one particular form eg "Social Democrat" etc.

I do however find an affinity to the issues being dealt with - and the manner in which this is happening - and to the general stance towards other parties of this party. Therefore may I join?

PS I did after all vote ODP ...

:o

Damn you CC0, you said two feet, not eight!

I would add; "and slander".

But you're joining the ODP. It's practically in the job description.

IMO, Get McCain to join. Enough Right-Wingers and the Boo Party won't even have to try to bring down the government. We could just attack randomly and cause everyone to break down.

OH THE POWER OF BEING IN THE AWESOME PARTY.

[You missed the square brackets] out.

And that out needed square brackets to signify it ... how does that work exactly?

I'm ready for it. :) I couldn't care any less. I think McCain has a very good chance. I joined his campaign in the summer of 2007 back in the primaries, when people thought his campiaign was dead and broke. And look... we won. McCain picks up momentum quickly, and if you look at the most recent polls, he's doing it as Obama keeps tanking more and more.

McCain has a very good chance of making it happen, I think. And it's not arrogance or whatever, I'm just confident that McCain will win.

And hey - we're not the ones modelling our campaign logo after the presidential seal... Obama is. ;)

Yes. I've met the Senator, his wife Cindy and his daughter who just graduated from Columbia (and is quite the hottie). I currently work in his campaign in the swing state of Michigan, so I get to see him A LOT. He's a great guy.

I just dislike the political arrogance of both sides going round acting like their already president.

Examples: Obama's tour of Europe...

Cameron goes to Georgia for some reason...

Except that Cameron is a Tory, arrogance is practically part of the job description.

In fact, it's the only thing on there.

[I was going to try something about upper class arrogance and stuff, and include a warning header about anti-tory joke approaching, but I didn't want to.]

You have, in your own words, entered "the Paradigm of Evil".

You've started to use square brackets for asides/in-jokes/thought processes.

I WIN!

Why is that evil? Surely it's just good organisation?
