Given the obvious flaws in the proposed Coursework/Examination Bill (which for some reason has been described as a motion), I move that the Coursework/Examination Bill be ammended as follows:

All current text shall be stricken from the record and replaced with the following:
Quote:

Under this bill, exam boards will be legally required to offer OSAC, OFC & OHC courses in which at least one examined module may be substituted with coursework. In every course, one module must still be examined traditionally. It is hoped that this will create a reasonably flexible secondary education system without devaluing qualifications.

The question is as in the motion.

As many who are of that opinion say aye,
Aye!
To the contrary no,
No!

Does this count as a defeat for the government?

Why would it? We've hardly objected to it.

You proposed a policy, and it got thrown back in your face. You can hardly call this a victory.

Nor would I call it a loss.

Especially as technically we've voted for this.
