So I press backspace. What does IE do? It decides to go back to the previous page, losing all my work in the process...

If you press backspace in Firefox it still goes back. I've never seen the worth in Firefox myself.

The fact is, Firefox's main plus points are in its ability to be customised. IE's main plus points lie in that if you're used to it then you can surf the web at a high operating level wherever. And yes, it does solve the backspace problem

In fact it was rather annoying when I used to use IE at school. We have Explorer mice, with forward and back buttons on either side. A little twitch and you lose all your work >_<...
