"I move that this house condemns the Boo Party for abandoning their ideology and urges the general public to remove them from office this general election" *ducks behind bench to avoid being hit by pens, scrunched up pieces of paper and briefcases being thrown at him from the government benches* |

Open legacy, freedom of information, free software. Remember, in a minority though we must cooperate with the other parties. Had we got a stronger lead we'd probably have done much more, but when you have only a plurality you must compromise... |

Open legacy can hardly be described as exclusively left wing issues, if at all. If anything, these proposals liberated the market, making them right wing. Freedom of information - sorry, but how is that left wing? Free software - you changed the operating system of government computers. It's hardly socialism, is it? Cieran, the Boo Party is never going to get a genuine majority again on Mock Parliament. If you take the attitude that you can never win, you never will. You shouldn't be afraid of being defeated once in a while. |

I suppose we could vote Aye on one of your train privatisation bills, then nationalise it again. Would that help? |

We can't nationalise anything for one thing. This bill prevents us from doing so ¬_¬... |

No it doesn't. At no point does that bill say it's illegal for the government to buy a company. |

Then there's still nothing to stop you. You could just add "Repeals the Private Property Protection Act" to the start of a nationalisation bill. |
