I will admit, I had no part in the extra voters. Nor would I have been supportive of Dark Lugia contacting. DMHowe I think even you can agree was fair enough. He'd been brought in before, and he's semi-active anyway.

However, it's besides the point. We did not tell them who to vote for. They chose. If we had not brought in Dark Lugia, it would have been a tie, complicating things further. If he had voted FVP would we be having this argument I wonder?

No, it wasn't fair. From what I gather, Dark Lugia wasn't just asked to vote for a candidate - he was told all about the Boo Party first, but nothing about F&V=P.

Secondly, there wouldn't have been a tie in the first place if you hadn't brought DMHowe in.

I would like to bring attention to the fact that it was I that contacted Dark Lugia of my own accord, after being told that a tie would complicate things I decided to ask him to vote in the election, stopping a tie. If any action is taken on this, it should be towards me and not the boo party.

The bringing in of Dark Lugia was definitely wrong. His post count is 2, persumably both from the introductions thread. Also, he appears to know the people in the Boo Party fairly well, and most of us in F&V=P not at all, so his vote was always going to go one way.

DMHowe was more acceptable, though Inevitable shot his own argument down by saying that he's been brought in before. If he's had to be brought in for more than one election, can he really be counted as active. If people don't know there's an election on, then they won't have been around beforehand to make a decent judgement on their vote.

And CC0, I'm not siding with Inevitable, this is just a point: even if your motions against the Boo Party were justifiable, it doesn't mean that you weren't repeatedly berating them.

Miniyoda008, I was objecting to the accusation that berating the government was almost all I'd done.

I'd also like to make clear that I am not calling for TTF to remove the government or call an election. However, I do feel that the Boo Party's actions were unacceptable and that they must not be repeated again under any circumstances.

I'm semi-active, and I do tend to be aware there's a vote going on.

I just don't vote because

1) It's very rarely close.
2) ;) I don't want to vote for either of the parties.

This time I voted because I wanted to know what'd happen in the event of a tie, apparently a lot of trouble.

I'm a lurker. ;)

Also, can someone make B) B-) so I can list points as A, B, C, etc?

Despite our best intentions and hopes, we now realise that this statement is viewed as the same thing we were trying to stop.

In the interest of what we wanted to acheive, we feel it's best that this is withdrawn.

I thank the Prime Minister for his decision and would also like to draw attention to the fact that while I have not withdrawn my motion, I have ammended it so as to focus entirely upon the issue of the election results themselves and have withdrawn my call for the Prime Minister's resignation.
