Parliament has today approved the governments new budget, which takes advantage of the recent economic boom by cutting taxes and raising spending. The budget has gone down well with the voters and the tax cuts have furthered the economic boom - however not everyone is happy. A significant proportion of the political establishment has expressed dismay at what they see as a wasted oppurtunity to radically increase investment in Ostentia's public services, while economists warn that the boom can't last forever.

In other news, the Nashun heatwave is continuing, with the region today experiencing its hottest day for 31 years. The heatwave has led to an influx in tourists, with people travelling from across the country in order to enjoy the summer sun.

And who provided the trains for easy access from Epiphany :D ? Also the previous article said it was heading for Falahn.

*Awaits heatwave becoming a crisis with lack of water and heat deaths etc*...

*thinks about how much easier averting such a crisis (with water supplies) would be if there was a cheap and completely nationalised rail system running all around the country*
