As analysts predicted, there was little change in the makeup of Christophia's government following the general election. The Christophian president had called for the election following parliement's decision not to open relations with Ostentia, yet sources say he is optimistic that he will be able to turn government in his favour when he opens parliament tomorrow.

In other news, Ostentian Railway Engineers are considering strike action should the government attempt to force them to continue with construction of the Empthrinian rail link into Empthrinia. However, the union decided earlier today o wait until the end of the general election to see how government was made up next term.

Why are we still paying them??? They've finished the Ostentian section of the line after all. Their job is done.

Why are we forcing them to continue construction if it's finished?

EMPHASIS ON "SHOULD".

Maybe I didn't word it rightly... My point is that if you ask Ostentian engineers to build the Empthrinian half of the line, they'll go on strike.

Fine then. No link for anyone. The Ostentian engineers won't do it and have you tried finding an Empithrinian Engineering company that doesn't steal your money and vanish?

Can we have a news report on our election victory?

Something along the lines of "Shock win for Alliance, mob attacks opinion poll companies etc." will do. :P
