As the election nears I'd like for you all to know this: The P&PP is not dead, it will never be dead as long as we have a hope of creating a country that puts people as the primary focus of this country. We shall never give up, we shall never tire because it is this party that was made because we thought that there was a better way. A way only we can promise. Before you vote remember that there will always be one party which is excellent with economics and with people. One that takes or ideas and your ideas seriously. No Globalisation. More govenrment funded economy, more independence economically, more power to the people, more focus on the people of our country and the creation of a newer free-er Ostentia. That's what I promise! Let's go for this! |

I realise you are cynical about our party, I know we have different strengths to the DSP as well. We are not right wing, but that doesn't mean we are hopeless with the economy, it means that we can run an excellent economy with a different focus, one more people based. Rather than wasting time on globalisation, we'd like to try and improve the living standard for Ostentians and making life better for everyone. |

So you'll continue to cut taxes so that people have more money to spend on themselves will you?

I don't think living standards are to do with how much money you have. I have no plans to cut or raise taxes at the moment. I think 35% is sufficient in the current climate. What I think we should do is come up with more schemes to try and promote healthy lifestyles, promote literacy, have more services for the old and young and invest more in the health service. |

Ah, but the current economic climate is based upon the free market. It won't remain if you tighten regulations. I accept, a planned economy can work - indeed, there are situations in which it is necessary. However, given that we are in the middle of an economic boom fuelled by international trade and the free market, this is not what one of those situations. If you try to fix something that isn't broken, you'll break it. |

If you try to improve something that is broken you risk breaking it, but you can make it something completely new and fantastic; and that is my philosophy. We stand for Mixed economy. We aren't communists, we are democratic socialists. I am sure we can continue to work the country at a state of reasonable independence and continue to boost it through investment and creation of internal competition. |

Last time I checked Democratic Socialism advocated a gradual shift to a socialist planned economy. It's Social Democracy that advocates the mixed economy isn't it? |

My main point was not one of cynicism - if it was, it is certainly merely misandry - but one of fact. No other government has managed the economy as well as the Liberal Alliance did. This is solid fact, there is no assertion or favouritism involved. The "with people" parallelism is just a tag, a nothing. You want to contrast the perceptibly stuffy world of economy, so you choose people: good choice, but meaningless. The Liberal Alliance, simply by lasting its course, showed its genius aptitude for compromise and so on. RIP. |

If your latest protest/joke party wins the election, you would find yourself in the awkward position of still being an F&V=P MP. |
