I have been queried as to why I have voted no on this motion.

Reasons:

1. Research for exploitable deposits of minerals etc is already performed well by the private sector.
2. The Government could already research this using research teams, this is what they are for.
3. Legal grey area created due to a lack of eminent domain legislation.
4. Exa told me to.
