The Pink and Purple Party!

The Pink and Purple Party (P&PP) were formed when the leaders of the two parties (The IPNH and DLP parties) decided to work together to fulfil the countries needs. What better way of doing that then combining their own parties to make one twice as useful?

The P&PP party understand that in order for the country to strive forward change is needed. However we also understand that too much change isn’t always good. This is why we plan to introduce change, but only where needed. We aim to create a safer, wealthier and more equal Ostentia. Not just for us, but for you, the public.

We understand that more recently we haven’t been the most active party.
Both Lewis and I keep on getting caught up elsewhere, but we intend to make a difference in the coming terms.
Even if not elected we intend to push our policies forward in a hope that the people of Ostentia will come to understand that a vote for us is a vote for what’s best.

The Manifesto!

THE ECONOMY

We want to keep the nation and its people wealthy. In order to do this we hope to offer more job opportunities to ensure people are given as best a chance as possible.

We hope not to raise the tax rate above 41% and we will do our best to use our budget wisely. Currently the economy is thriving, the P&PP congratulate the current government on a fantastic job. If elected we intend to follow the prime example set by our fellow governments in order to maintain the already great standards.

EDUCATION

We see education as a vital factor to the progression of this country, because of this we want to make it as good as possible.
Our main aim at the moment is to encourage higher education and softening the transition from school/university to the world of work. In a nutshell we wish to prepare youth for the future via schools. We intend to do this through bills that will allow modern youth an insight into their futures. These bills will be created when elected, but before then we will concentrate on maintaining the decent standards of education in the country.

HEALTH

The P&PP party believe that health care should be free to all.
But we also agree that the current tiers of hospitals are wrong. Lack of supplies is a common problem and we intend to confront this problem head on. We also help to encourage the donation of organs and giving of blood to ensure that stock can reach demand.

TRANSPORT

We hope to encourage public transport, not only to improve the environment but also decrease traffic. This is because we feel that traffic is an increasing problem and so we also hope to increase the number of roads available in order to solve this problem. We hope that in the long run we can run a campaign to encourage cycling and other means of environmentally friendly transport.

THE ENVIRONMENT

The P&PP feel very strongly about the environment. It’s a currently a worldwide problem and we feel that Ostentia should be doing its part to help out!
We hope to reduce pollution by our transport policies. We also hope to set up several new national parks to not only preserve the environment and the creatures living within it, but also to act as a tourist attraction and job provider.

LAW & ORDER

If elected we intend to invest a small section of the budget in the police system and its infrastructure. We feel that the police force could do with more equipment and vehicles. We also hope to encourage the community to get involved through different campaigns.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Foreign affairs seem to be something that troubles Ostentia at the moment. The P&PP would obviously like to keep at peace with neighbouring countries. Any conflicts that do occur the P&PP will do its best to avoid joining in. We hope to maintain trade routes and communications through these hard times.

SOCIAL AFFAIRS

We hope to ensure local communities receive the best support from the P&PP. In the long term we hope to invest into community projects and local infrastructure to provide more jobs and tourist attractions through national park schemes and advertising campaigns for things such as the police force.

As you can see we have big plans that will benefit everyone in the country.
If elected we hope to pinpoint the main areas that are concerning the country as a whole and eradicate them. With more jobs, a greener community, and a strong economy what could go wrong?
We hope we can expect your vote in the next election, your country deserves it!

If you ignore the prospect of a 9% tax jump, that's actually a decent manifesto.

Oh sorry, I know the current tax rate, that was around the average when I wrote the main bulk of it a few months back.
I just edited it now to make sure it suits now.

I will keep that tax rate the same.
We don't intend to raise the tax rate and it will be a last resort but there can be no promises that i won't be needed.
We do intend to keep it as low as possible and below the 41% mark.
But like I say, we won't be raising it from what it is anytime soon :P
Just by saying we won't raise it any higher then that it'll give us some leeway in case of a crisis of some sort. But we will try to keep it as low as possible, as always :P

Also, why so surprised ;)

tl;dr

Too Long; Didn't Read

Literally translates to: That was too long to read.
Really translates to: I'm too lazy to read the entirety of what you said, but I still want to say something.
