Q. I have a quick question: are we encouraged to do sneaky and underhanded things such as say match fixing (paying one moulder to loose, then betting against them, or using sub-standard critters and betting against yourself), and of couse the whole bribery/blackmail/politcs thing. I can see it going either way as it would be fluffy and skavenesque, but on the other hand it may unbalance the game A. Like I said in your PM, sneakiness is encouraged. Remember though that this is supposed to be fun for all members, so keep that in mind. It eventually comes down to what is most fun for the members. I'll warn you that you may find yourself losing money if you do this too often. Pillz |

Q. I have a question about the tournaments/ fights. As I read through the rules, it tells me that it's almost always a one versus one fight. Does this mean that during the tournaments, you'll have the majority of the creatures from your laboratory in reserve? Or are they there to follow up a creature when one goes out of action, or something like that? A. A Very good point. Most of the time, creatures will be in reserve. However, there is a new rule section coming your way. This section will cover the use of other Master Moulders. Once you become powerful enough, you will be allowed to take rats under your wing, and they can be sent off to fight in multiple tournaments at once. Some tournaments will allow follow-up creatures. |

Gee, I have a lot of questions, don't I Q. If I attached a human head (including brain) to a rat ogre, do I need two warpstone salves? (one for extra head and one for brain) A. Nope. the brain is already in the head. You are allowed to use common sense when putting together a creature. I'll also be actually checking your math, so fear not, I will (hopefully) catch any mistakes you make) Q. If I increase the size of a critter using enlargenment potions, does this change it's stat-line? (ie an ogre sized mutant goblin would be considerably tougher) A. Yes. it changes it to the normal strength of that size (small S2, Human S3, Ogre S4, Giant S5) Q. Also on the subject of enlargening poitions, Can a creature have parts of a larger size atached to it? (ie an oger could have a human arm, but could a human have an ogres arm?) A. Yes. You can have larger parts, but this may affect the creatures balance or the creature might not be able to support the more massive limbs. Q. If I use parts form an animal in my stock, can I keep the other bits for later use? A. Yes. Normally. there is a chance that the stock animal will die, and in that case, brains, livers, and hearts may not be used. Q. If the answer to the above was in the positive, does this include parts that would be considered vital to life? (ie if I used an ogre bull's arms I could use the rest later, but what if I took his heart or brain) A. Most Organs except for the Heart, Brain, and liver can still be used. |

Q. When buying items and/or weapons for your packmasters (or master moulder), will there be a limit for the amount of 'items' they can carry for direct use at any time. For example: Is it possible for my packmaster to use two swords, a whip and a sling during a pit fight and once he gets involved in combat (for any reason) be able to swap from sword and whip to two swords? A. Yes he can buy those items and switch at any time UNLESS he is in base-to-base contact with an enemy. If he is behind a Rat Ogre, he can switch. If you wish to switch weapons in certain scenarios, put that in your battleplan. As for a limit.... there will be, but it will be reasonable. You cannot carry 10 swords and 20 pistols, for example. Q. If the above is positive and you can carry more items with you then you can use at one time, what will be the exact limit of items you can use (as I don't see a packmaster carry twenty swords with him). A. There will be no exact limit, but I will say (about) no more than the default whip, a Brace of Pistols, 2 Sidearms (daggers and such) and 2 swords. Q. In the Market, I see quite a lot of Skryre weaponry. Will there be (now or in the near future) the possibility to visit some Skryre shop for modifications of those weapons? A. Yes.  Q. With items and/or weaponry, will it be possible to make suggestions for items we'd hope to see? A. Yes Suggestions are always welcome.

Q. As this isn't mentioned in the rules, what's exactly the armoury of the packmasters and master moulder? Do they have sword + whip, or do they have nothing at all? A. Thank you. They are equipped with Sword and Whip. |

Q: If i have mutated a creature succsesfully, can I mutate on things again? Say I got a Rat Ogre with four arms, can I mutate on a fifth? A: Yes, but the Ogre still has a chance of dying. |

Q. If I understand the rules correctly, it's the master moulders that get involved in the pit fights and not the packmasters. What is in that case the use of a packmaster? A. It depends on the fight. Generally, Packmasters will enter the arena with a particular group of beasts In this case, they will help make sure the beasts do what you want them to do. Other times, there will be no outside interference, and other times it is only the master Moulder himself. it depends upon the tournament. And packmasters can always be used as spare parts..... |

Q: what occurs if your Master mutator Dies? A. If he 'dies', you can either choose to have him die, or (what I expect you'll do) is he'll just be injured (heavily) and will recover eventually. Q: If it says in a report that your creature dies has it died utterly or is there a chance of bringing it back Bone ripper styly? A. there is a always a chanc of bringing something back. Somehow. :ph43r: Q: If your creature dies in the pits do you keep the parts or can your opponenet lay claim to what is left? A. It depends. Normally you can still keep the parts.

Why does everyone call me bob! :lol: couple grades ago in my younger days, I wasn't the only person with my name so the teacher call me bob. A while back at a GW, my team mate for a mega battle forgot my name and called me bob... Maybe I should change my name to Robert! :lol: A. Q. Skalm and skavenbrew are items that in WH Fantasy can only be used/ activated one time in a battle. How is it used here? Is it an item that can be used for one pit fight only, or is it an item that can be used again and again and again (basically, a part of the kit from a master moulder during a tournament). A. One use only. Ever. So, you will need to restock. Q. Even though it's seriously seeking the limits of what's possible within the rules, is it possible for someone to enter a tournament with two creatures at the same time, i.e. having two different entries at the same tournament?... I have no intent of trying this out, just wondering what can be expected. A. Yes it is possible, but not legal. Generally. You're welcome to try

You can enter and participate in both, as long as the creatures (and you or an apprentice) are there. |
