Druchii Master Moulder Posts: 1,299 Group: Throtlings Member #6 Joined: April 9, 2006	ooops.... that's what I get for replying near 2am.... 20 clanrats w/ spears, full command=145 points, divide by $45 (damn price raise), its roughly 3.3 points/dollar. 12 chaos warriors with Halberds and Shields, FC=234 points , divide by $45, its exactly 5.2 points/dollar. And also, you can make chaos warriors chosen, which increases it to 6.8 points/dollar, and you can also gove them a mark, the average cost of marks is 27 points, so it becomes 7.4 points/dollar. Lets compare, clanrats: 3.3 ppd, Chaos warriors 5.8. (with mark)(7.4 ppd if chosen) With the non-chosen chaos warriors, you get 1.75 times the points, chosen warrirors get 2.27x the points. hope I didnt just waste my time... because that would royally suck.

Master Mutator Posts: 267 Group: Throtlings Member #34 Joined: July 4, 2006	That is true, but AitD was complaining about how many more boxes of chaos warriors (35$ us) he would have to buy to allow for 5 man ranks. So, it's more of a "It will suck to start Chaos if that happens" thing compared to "You have to buy less Chaos to make an army than Skaven" which is rather obvious. However, the points per dollar analysis was quite useful. Thanks.
