Master moulder Fleider Krinkelsniff is pleased to announce the opening of the very first Farmyard Tournament! Being held in the newly-built Stinkbowl arena, on the edge of Dead Rat's Peak, this tournament tests the mouldering skills and intelligence of mutators, rather than the depth of their wallets and greyness of their fur. Competitors' beasts must be based on 'farmyard beasts', and have no more than five points of 'threshhold' worth of mutations/augmentations. Creatures may not be bigger than man-sized. Moulders are not allowed to participate in the pit, and must watch and goad their creatures from the stands. Moulders will be paired off for the first round, then the winners proceed to the second round, get paired off and fight again, and so on. It's the standard tournament system, resulting in a single winner to claim the prize. There is a ten [10] token entry fee. The winner of the tournament will get at least eighty [80] tokens in prize money. A massive return on the -probably- cheap beasts entered. Sign up ends on Thursday. The tourney starts whenever the packlords have time to do it...  Come one! Come all! Prove that you can win over, with mouldering skill, rather than money and better stock! Note to patrons : Fleider is guarding the arena with a large contingent of security rats. However, given the recent destruction of the Marienburg bathtub, possibly by the infamous Ikkilit, it is advised that all moulders present keep a wary eye for supicious activity, and report anything observed to the guards, or local authorities. In these troubled times, we cannot be too careful. P.s - Skaven reporting to the guards mereley to get others in trouble will be thrown from the tournament, and be reported to the authorities in Dead Rat's Peak, -Barnyard Creatures- Fleider has already investigated the possibilities of beasts for this tournament, and found prices for unlisted beasts. The beasts below are the only creatures that moulders may use as bases for entrants into this tournament. They are available at the listed prices at the common market.

Examination/testing of beasts, A large team of packmasters, and possibly a skilled moulder will examine the beasts before the first round begins. Most mutations are obvious. Not hard to spot. Naturally, internal implants are harder to discover, but visible scars or detailed examination would probably give them away. Finally, any beast which is found to be over the limit during the tournament, or while attempting to enter it, will be disqualified, possibly reported to the DRP mouldering authorities, and probably banned from any future events in the Stinkbowl.  |

Scat vs. Phlik The pistol sounded and the battle began. Phlik’s beast Flayflash dove lazily at his opponent Split. Flayflash fought fearsomely against Split, who could not do much but try defending himself. Not after long Split could not take anymore and Flayflash was declared the winner. OOC: Wow. The rolling was incredibly one sided. I don’t think Split had more than 1 to wound roll above a 2. Vin-Tip vs. Neek The pistol sounded and the beasts lazily dove at each other. Vin-Tip’s beast Rat-Trap was charged by Overman, who could not hit the beast for anything. Rat-trap easily countered the attacks and unleashed a barrage of attacks of his own that proved to be quite strong. Overman finally gained some leverage on his foe. Rat-trap then retaliated once again, almost sending Overman reeling to the floor in a dazed state. But not quite. When it was least expected, Overman unleashed a flurry of attacks sending Rat-trap violently to the ground. OOC: Wow…. Insane last roll… Wow. This will continue tomorrow… it’s later than I thought. Dr Woombenstein vs. Jekkit The pistol sounded and Shrimp dove at his foe. His foe, Snatcher, seemed to have dozed off and did not do much. Shrimp was slashing away, and Snatcher awoke, just to see himself die a painful death. OOC: 0::::::|=======> The Doctor vs. Slither The pistol sounded and the battle began. I swear if I hear another pistol I will throw the shooter in the pit and tear him limb from limb. Baron Samedi, prepared to take the charge from the snake known as Gassid. Gassid landed right onto one of Baron’s spikes, causing the rattle on his tail to explode, doing nothing to either combatant. Baron then smacked gassed with his massive plague censor, sending him to a dazed state. Gassid then lunged at Baron’s thigh, chipping a bone slightly. Baron responded by smacking the snake, causing him to fly into the walls of the arena causing painful splat noise. OOC: okay, I got bored with the report on that one Winnings will be added at the end of next round. The line-up for the semi-finals are: Neek vs Dr. Woombenstein Phlik vs. The Doctor. |

A black-clad figure jumps into the cave and with a flick of its wrist, it throws a dart towards the 'sign-up' table, onto where it pins a note. As quickly as it had come, the creature dissapeared from sight again. Those that approach the note see the message written: "Clan-clan Gnawkin is rebuilding lab-laboratory. Apologies-gies for abs-absence by moulder Ratticq." |

Dr Woombenstein vs. Neek The battle began, and Overman charged Shrimp. Shrimp nimbly dodged the blows, and backed up. He raised his warp claw in the air and grinned as Overman was struck by an unknown force, slamming him to the ground. OOC: Holy crap…. I have never seen so many wounds in one round…. I am PMing him about how many there are and he can tell if he wants… Philk vs. The Doctor The pistol sounded and the match began. *tries to restrain rage* And Flayflash charged Samedi, avoiding most of the spikes, causing a bit of pain to himself. Flayflash tried to devour his foe, but the skeleton barely avoided it’s maw. Samedi turned and walked toward a wall, with his arms held in front of him. Flayflash took no time in exploiting that weakness, and sending the ogre into a broken heap. OOC: Finals will happen using a new format for batreps. Please send some feedback on it. Announcer vs. Pistolier This is Khand filling in for the competitor. The pistol sounded and the round ended with a hole in the announcers head. Idiot. OOC: I’m a little bored Finals are: Dr Woombenstein vs. Phlik Winnings and injuries will be done in a moment. For Mork’s reference: I have not added influence…. |

Philk vs. Dr Woombenstein Finals of the Hergig Waterfall (match done through the perspective of a rat betting a hefty sum on Woombenstein) That wretched pistol went off, and those stupid beasts sat on their tails, doing nothing. Filthy vermin. Flayflash is charging fast… Come on you stupid beast start moving…That stupid shrimp.. His backpack is lighting up… there could be hope left… Not nearly enough done. At least he’s stumbling now. His hand is raised, but he’s been charged…. And what the hell just happened? Flayflash just… fell. What the… Oh well. More money for me! Go shrimp! OOC:  Woomba…. Same thing happened… exact same outcome… You won the tournament…. Wow…As for the report here… it was rather half astly done. Money and injury will be done in a moment. |
