Moulder Monthly LXXVII Nooz Top Story: Rash of Lab Attacks Sweeps Underempire A recent series of lab attacks has led to many Moulder reinforcing their labs for fear of looting. About fourty labs have been sacked by strange black figures armed with explosives and crossbows. Many labs have been completely destroyed, while others merely robbed. It seems that destruction is their primary goal, however. Most of the attacks have been centered around Marienburg, but they are spreading. Lock up your labs at night! Skkiter Still Besieged Master Moulder Skkiter is still under attack in the mountains. Ikkilit shows no sign of letting up his siege, and has a seemingly endless supply of Skaven with which to attack him. There is currently no communication going out from the fortress, which shows just how tightly Ikkilit hold the area surrounding the fortress... it's a wonder that they haven't been starved out yet. Plague Dive Starting! The predicted next phase in the Plague's life-cycle has started. The amount of cases has already doubled, and beasts are beginning to die rapidly. There has still been no cure found. New Hell Pit RatLeader Karowak has finally appointed a new RatLeader of Hell Pit! Master Moulder Hausik, an aging veteran of many wars, will lead Hell Pit. It is an interesting choice, for Hausik was formerly one of the most outspoken critics of the Pitfighting World, and only entered it when he was retired from active military service. Karowak said that his decision took so long due to pressures from many sources to appoint certain Skaven in the position. He claims to have ignored them all. Tournament Update: OVEREMPIRE ARENAS: The Waterfall of Death is entering its second rounds. DEAD RAT'S PEAK: The Semi-Open is entering its second round soon! SYLVANIA: The first round of the Sylvanian area attles (with the obstacle course) is almost completed! Rumour-Mill: -Hausik was appointed on command of the Underlord. -The Black Botanist is behind the raids! -The Plague was bio-engineered by Clan Pestilens to weaken Clan Moulder. Favrik OOC: Alrighty... no influence. Life has been conspiring against me, and I have had little extra MP time for influence. I have been putting little numbers at the tops of inventories, so hopefully I can get some of it done but the middle of the week.. if life stops being irritating. Actually I've been meaning to try out a new creature of mine, the siege might be my chance... As for the Pox, does anyone have dead creatures yet? Maybe disecting it would help. I've got some small dealings with Pestilens, if I new more about it then I might be able to use some of my pull. Only thing is none of my creatures have died... |

why hasn't anyone beseigered the besiegers? Beseige them, cut off THEIR supply lines. twitchy, really a job for your airplanes, strafing runs are fun. |
