Moulder Monthly LXXXVII The NEWS! Top Story: Series of Earthquakes Rocks Underempire Two days ago, as miners across the Underempire were towing back large quantities of minerals to their masters, a series of violent earthuakes shook the earth, centered mainly around major mining locations. It is estimated that 3,000,000 Tokens worth of goods were lost in the sudden spate of earthquakes. Experts have, as was expected, declared that heretics were responsible - they say the earthuakes were artificially made. And looking at the strange positioning and precise effects of the quakes, it is only too easy to agree. Dead Rat's Peak was hit the hardest, with Dawai Lumin losing more Tokens worth of goods than anyrat else. Dawai has, strangely enough, accused Ikkilit for the earthquakes, saying that he set the bombs to set off the quakes. Who knows who did it... or if, indeed, anyrat did do it. However, they did, and we must live with the results. Skryre and Moulder Relations 'Suffer' From Slight Improvement Yesterday, Clan Moulder and Skryre met, and grudgingly eased off on a few of the issues before them. The two are still economically separate, but Clan Moulder agreed to not penalize Moulders using excessive Skryre goods... good news for some of the Underempire's more augmented Moulders, such as Ikkil, Caseph, and Twitch. Ikkilit and Skkiter Finally, the fighting appears to have stopped here... however, the area around Skkiter's fortress appears to be abandoned, as if no-rat ewas ever there... no-rat can say for sure if there is anyrat inside the fortress, as it is still locked, but Ikkilit's forces have cleared out. Inquisition The Holy Inquisition of the Horned Rat ended its official investigation four days ago, concluding that 'nothing overly suspicious had been going on.' Tournament Updates: BADLANDS: The BadBoys Tournament final round is coming up soon! HELL PIT: Sign-ups for the Rejected end soon. CHALLENGES: Sorry for the delay, but they will be done this week... we hope... Rumour-Mill: -Ikkilit is behind the earthquakes. -The earthquakes are an evil ploy by the ever-jealous lizardmen to mess around with the Skaven race. -A Ratnapper is at large again, taking the children of many breeding beasts and Skaven away from right under their caretakers' nose... -Vending-related violence has increased yet again.
