Outskirt Tournament Mandate; A New Rule

Yay! My Rat Ogre! ^_^ Posts: 9,134 Group: Outskirter Member #1 Joined: April 6, 2006	It has come to the attention of the three omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent Packlords that the Outskirt tournament scene has been lacking... participants. When there is an abundance of them. As such, it is now mandated that all Outskirters must, if they submit any AP's for the turn, either have signed up for or be participating in a tournament in the Outskirts. Effectively, this means that you have to sign up for every tournament and enter something, or risk token and creature losses. This is to ensure that people don't hide in the Outskirts, and also to get tournament entries up. Thank you. Pillz

You see, some Outskirters already started to specialise themselves and ahdn't any slaves anymore and didn't have the technique to make a good slave. Since competition seemed to be strong right now in the outskirts. While we all love big tournies, this mandate just because of one tourny is going over the top IMO. I left the moment I won my first tournament, in my opinion anyone staying longer than that is just milking the Outskirts for free protection and easy tokens for as long as they can

We all saw how Blackdeath milked the outskirts for so long, until he was ready to come out and destroy most of the players outside of them. I myself left after my first tourny win, and I do find it kind of annoying that I don't get a good read due to so little entries. However, perhaps to help with this, they should have less-specialized tournaments for the most part? (For example, OS beast, or SS beast or just a size?), or use some of the outskirt arenas! For those outskirters that don't know.... Quote: Ozekan's Oditorium - This is a typical arena, nothing special about it, except that Ozekan himself presides over it, watching and judging the match. Fangden - This arena is ringed with a series of razor-sharp spikes, that are pushed closer towards the center as the match goes on. Tierena - This is an arena with three different levels, each connected by ramps. Deathpool - An aquatic arena. Dustpit - A standard arena, infamous for having very deep dust that bogs creatures down, and sometimes even sinking the larger creatures into the hidden holes beneath it. And I got a receipt to get my beast back as soon as I am out of the Outskirts. And I wouldn't call it a super-beast, Glod. I am still in the Outskirts after all. Please note this was made by me. but we all know that this tournament thing was Sids idea... Its not a bad thing, pitfighting is the main part of the game and all outskirters should enjoy it and not just be here for that protection... Edited by Kirat, Dec 6 2010, 07:24 PM.
