where are my cookies? Posts: 141 Group: Outskirter Member #7,370 Joined: August 4, 2010	well, i thought since i am back home in Australia and have my full set of paints again (although no glues...they all disapeared or dried up...damn) i thought i might as well finish off my terminator army that i have had lying around for a while. basically i am going to use the space wolves codex for playing games, but since i really am not a huge fan of loyalists i had to go chaosy with them :-P so without further ado here are the first 2 that i have finished By kormas at 2011-10-26 By kormas at 2011-10-26 By Kormas at 2011-10-26 By Kormas at 2011-10-26 i am going for a rather grimy look with them, since i was getting sick of painting them clean :-P. My one big worry is that they may be a bit too grimy and overdone, would love some opinions on this as i am rather undecided atm (i can allways clean them up a little) also, i might throw some of my khador stuff up here once it is finished :-) Edited by kormas, Oct 27 2011, 09:13 AM.

How much did you have to spend on yellow paint for all those terminators? looks like youre gonna have to use several pots of the stuff But yeah, i aint too bad at painting myself, i just get bored after... i dunno... 1 model and then they get put away for a year Me and Guldan had to get 2 Crisis Suits and 22 Firewarriors painted for a tournement that we were going to the next morning... I nearly died painting so many models in one sitting! We had to do it as a production line rather than 1 model at a time The crisis suit i did turned out friggin' awesome though... will have to try and get a pic of it up on here at some point. Master Mutator Posts: 1,263 Group: Throtlings Member #208 Joined: June 1, 2007	So now you're going to be blowing through a lot of white paint Anyway, as the one that suggested the paint scheme, I'm obliged to love it For the record though, I don't think Vlad and the Manhunters necessarily need to be the same scheme. After all, Man-O-War are elite soldiers in the Khadoran army, while Vlad and Manhunters are actually irregulars. Indeed, if you keep Vlad as is and paint any Iron Fang Pikemen and Uhlans you get in the same scheme, representing Vlad's House Guard or something (as it is his right as a nobleman to have his own private soldiers separate from the Khadoran army), it could be a nice distinction and an excuse to have different colour schemes to paint, helping stave off boredom And besides, you've got Vlad's girlfriend to lead the actual Khadoran forces, since Sorscha is actually a member of the main Khadoran military (on a totally separate note, when/if Sorscha goes Legendary, she should totally ditch the main Khadoran forces and stop letting their attempts to keep their apart dooming the nation I mean, Khador needs new Tzepescis, thanks to that prophecy, so it's in the best interests of the nation if she runs away from the army to elope with Vlad, or something). Hmmm, that turned into a bit of a ramble, but I love the Khadoran Warcasters I swear, the relationships between those characters are brilliantly done. As much as I love my Farrow, there just aren't enough of their Warcasters to compete with the complex web of love and hate relationships that Khador is full of

Posts: 141 Group: Outskirter Member #7,370 Joined: August 4, 2010	haha suprisingly there isnt much white on this model the real killer is the amount of bleached bone i need for the base :s and hmm, that is a very good point, i may well paint scorscha white and maybe jsut paint some armour of vlads white to tie him in... that is actually a really good idea thanks
