Packlord Profile
You ready yourselves with glee to go explore the Island, unfortunately the Hunters leave without you. A number of guards bar your way, stopping you from entering the root system. (The real Hunters are the ones doing the reconnaissance, not you guys.)

(south) Plains - The Plains are a large expanses of space, very few obstacles and lots of open areas. There are a number of herds of animals here and a few solitary predators.

Long Grass - The long grass appears to block sightlines, dropping vision down to a few feet. There appear to be some very strange creatures in this area, some of them reptiles, others small with strange elemental powers.

Swamp - This area is dank, dark and filled with small biting flies. The Hunters report that there are relatively dangerous creatures living in the swamp that can rip a skaven to shreds, the vines that hang into the water also appear to be alive. The difficulties you may find here are that the environment is out to get you, it's dark and it's difficult to move. The tree-cover means that large flying creatures will struggle here as well.

Now, go take a look at the rules for the Hunt. Each player will need to submit personal orders and the leaders will need to submit the overall team orders. ^_^

I hope I'm doing this right, it sounds like from the rules I gotta put this template here?

Characters: Sho-Yin, sticking to the shadows, using hand signals to guide his beast

Equipment Type and Description: Mid-range Kit: The Dark Night hunts alone, only taking cues from his Shadowlord. Because of this he need to be able to handle whatever comes his way. He has moderate protective gear and a killer looking mask to protect his face. He wears a utility belt offered from one of the hunters with a variety of useful tools and potions. He brings with him a net from Sho-Yin's own inventory to better capture his prey.

Any accompanying beasts: The Batrat, A Rat Ogre with leathery wings and a chizzled jawline. Very mysterious.

Any accompanying beasts:Catchy’Snatchy is a ratogre with very long legs and arms, as well as tentacles sprouting from its shoulders.

Gribble...grib...Gribble!

Characters: Tekris Zimkus and Gribble (Brrx is taking a sight-seeing tour)

Equipment Type and Description: Heavy duty kit including Skryre-brand hazmat suits, a lot of firepower (perhaps even a Tkull-brand doomrocket), lots of bug spray, and large vine cutting knives

Any accompanying beasts: Peggy the Rat, a winged rat centaur with a things catcher and snake tail.

Characters: Savannah

Equipment Type and Description: Medium-Weight: Savannah will be taking equipment combining her hunting and mouldering guild, focused on the high-tech snazzy mumbo-jumbos, thingy-ma-bobs and other assorted basics. These items are;

The Baited Snap-Traps:
Simply open trap, apply camo, add tasty treat, hide and wait until a distinct "snap!" sound is heard, investigate, and voila, a beasty.

The Ballistic Net: A wierd looking crossbow that fires 4 blunt, weighted bolts, joined by a net. Simply point, fire, and catch (not so reliable on creatures of Ogre-equivalent masses and above).

Warpsticks: A set of flexible transparent tubes filled with warp-chemicals, allowing them to be left as a trail to follow to ensure that the bearer is able to re-trace it's routes. They also give off a low glow, assisting in illuminating where the sun does not.

The Eelstick: The simplest of the items, it is a wooden pole with a metal head, inside the metal head resides an electric eel and some water to make it more comfortable. There is also a handy screw top with which to replace any expired eels, water and air supply. Once the Eelstick is sufficiently agitated charged, it acts as a crude stun device with which to protect the bearer against nasty organic hazards without the need to dispatch them.

The TrackerJack: A simple tracker's jacket with a handy number of pockets and clips to hold and store things, including compass, water bottle, snacks, bribery cash and other every day essentials. The interior lining of the jacket is also a highly-complex heavy-weave material designed to be somewhat stab and slash resistant, handy when handling those claw-armed beasties.
The TrackerJack, Tracking Hound Edition: Essentially the same, but with dogs in mind, so naturally, Clayton is equipped with one - This edition comes with a built in long bendy-straw to a backpack-based water supply for easy doggy-access.

A Large Backpack: Er... it's a backpack. Cuz more storage space is always a plus.
Dog Satchels: 2 Small Side-Mounted Satchels. Cuz more storage space is always a plus.
Dragon Bags: 2 Large Side-Mounted Satchels. Cuz more storage space is always a plus.

Accompanying Beasts: Clayton, Role: Fetch-Thing. Grando, Role: Heavy Support.

Renegade Skink

Characters: Tex'Halik, who will be sneaking around, looking for items and artefacts, and will be equipped with a blowpipe + paralysis darts + a knife for self-defense/taking out small beasts. Xlqox, who will be bringing several large coils of rope, plus several long knives.

Equipment Type and Description: Light-weight kit: I take a blowpipe, darts (paralysis, varying strength) and a long knife, Xlqox takes about a hundred feet of rope and two long knives. Both have long, padded, pocket-covered coats.

Any accompanying beasts: Cuaqotta of the Wing: A Chameleon skink, with bat wings attached to its back and a shock collar around its neck (set to trigger if it flys more that about a mile from me and the controller I hold.)
Proud member of House PoisonFrog: the best cooks and poisoners in the whole of Hell Pit. Our meals are to (literally) die for.

GROUP ORDERS

The fourth day of the Hunt has started and as the members of the League of Explorer step on the island for a second time, the large ogre among them looks annoyed.

"Gragg'Dvorak is mad!" he yells as he glances at his fellow moulders.

"Little goblin man first says goblin man good leader, then little goblin man no comes to hunt. Now again goblin man is no here for second time. Gragg'Dvorak thinks goblin man scared and group needs new leader!"

DAY 4:
  • Scouting

    • Characters: Tex'Hallik
    • Area: Desert/Chasm (I'm not sure which squares on which day)
    • Method: Tex'Halik will be sneaking around, looking for items and artefacts and will be equipped with a blowpipe + paralysis darts + a knife for self-defense/taking out small beasts. Xlqox will be bringing several large coils of rope, plus several long knives. Cuaqotta will help them scout and Darkklaw will protect them and help with hunting small beasts,

    • Area:

Savannah: Around the water source, F5 & E5
    • Method:
G'D, Tekris and Sho-Yin: If it's up to Gragg'Dvorak, we will try to lure beasts with food or hypnotic light from Itchy'Bigsy. Our flying beasts (Peggy and Batrat) can fly around and try to find potential targets or lead found beasts towards us. Each moulder will operate in their own team of moulder+packmaster+ground beasts and the teams will work together to surround beasts and capture them.
Savannah: Track and capture as many Cat-Predators as possible on the planes. The objective is to keep them alive, as such, Savannah, Neofelis, Clayton and Elena are to use their Traps, Nets, Eelsticks and Grapple attacks to subdue the beasts. Additionally, if possible, Neofelis will assist in subduing the beast by calming it with her feline-appearance and nature (maybe she can communicate in some basic way?)

  • Obstacles
The forest will probably contain moving plants, similar to the swamp. We may try to catch/collect some, but if they start causing trouble, we will not hestitate to cut them down,

  • Opponents
If we meet other guilds, we will show them which guild has the greatest hunters (us of course) and try to catch any beast before they do. If they start to cause trouble, we will show them which guild has the best fighters as well (also us!). If a situation arises in which there is a common enemy for both guilds, we will work together of course, however, the safery of our own members comes first.

OOC: I thought it would be nice to have some group orders for this turn so I deciced to type some down as Arskittar is still absent as far as I know. I'm not enterily sure what everyone's plans are but I hope I wrote them down sufficiently enough.

So, I've kinda been away. Did we do the thing and kill-capture all the beasts? Or are we all dead now because of crazy-hungry Tree-Things?
