The doors swung open and a hero of the past stomped in. Heroine actually, but no one would call lil'lil'eth'eth that to her face, because it was 7 feet or so off the ground, her torso grafted to a rat ogre. She had to stoop to enter.

"What in the name of gristle gut is this?" She grumbled.

"An attack on Hell pit" someone squeaked.

" Not that, my seats been moved" she replied, gently booting chairs across the room until the table they surrounded was free enough for her to sit down on the floor beside it.
She unslung an old blunderbuss from her neck and began to clean it as the service personnel brought her a drink.

"I'm back" she muttered.
Brother skaven, consider this. Until the coming of Vermek Skab, the Council of Thirteen placed me in command of this army. Since Vermek Skab is sadly no longer with us, the leader's place in the rear must still fall to me by edict of the council. Of course, if any of you wishes to challenge the council's ruling I will notify them of this at once.

Lil looked over at Skritchit "A familiar face, well met "
The start of a conversation was interrupted as a couple of hooded Skaven entered and skittered over to her.

A few whispered chitterings, a bag of tokens given to her by one of the hooded ones, and she handed over the blunderbuss.

"It's antique," she said, " few special modifications, never reload, grows own ammo"
They bowed and skittered out to a muttered "good hunting" from Lil as she tucked the tokens one by one in various small bags.

She turned to Skritchit and said "I just got me a lab", saluting him with her drink an quaffing it in a gulp.

Lil entered the pub sporting a new things-catcher and a clean Ogor size grin. Her first encounter and she did good!

She waved the server over and ordered a jug of skaven aid. Nothing like old school.
Whipping out a new clean rag she began to burnish the things-catcher while sitting on the floor near a good solid wall. The rumours of the approaching beast-island filled the relaxing Skaven and she kept her ears sharp.

She had already heard the various rumours of the burning of hell pit. It had been planning and good luck that got her through with no losses to herself or her beasts, next time it would be a lot more of planning. Her studies were already bearing fruit!

Contacts were still scarce but she hoped to have some attractive trade for them soon.

The skavenade was good, Lil'lil'eth'eth relaxed a bit and allowed herself to remember:

The group that she was in had to guard an inquisirat, so she picked one, pointed him out to her human-thing and Roger the rat Ogre, telling them to guard. She hadn't gotten around to training much yet, so hoped they would get the idea when she adjusted her vest with a secondary pair of hands, took the fingers of another pair from her mouth (so handy for eating) and carrying her things-catcher in both primary hands, walked to the inquisirat.

She put the things-catcher down, pulled a bit of delicacy out and offered him some, eating part with her mouth-hands to show it was harmless. The inquisirat looked at her, sniffed and said "no thanks", but the beasts had seen enough. She gave them the rest and again stated "guard".

A few minutes later she and her beasts saved the inquisirat, who nodded thanks. Her beasts got more delicacy...

She got up and finished the drink, walking out the door of Roskos into the next day. (It got out of her way)

Wouldn't you?
