I am not gay nor know anyone who is gay but I still think that there is nothing wrong with gay marriges. There are some people who beleive that gay marriges are bad and gays are bad people but you can't help it if your gay and your really not any different from any other person in this world. Gay people have the same rights as any other people and if those right are taken away thats seriotipical. For most people the only reason their afraid of gay people is because their ignorant and uneducated about the topic so I think people should be more educated about how to treat other people who have different sexuall orientation and I stand by what I say. B) |

well i am not gay, however i do know lesbians/gays. i have a few freinds that are gay. but i am still tehre freinds and i don't care. we still get along the same and everything. I think gay marriges are not wrong, and think they should legalise it. |

Where I live it is legal which is good but there are some governmental partys that are opposed to that and we'er have an election soon for something about the city and stuff and I've seen alot of signs for the conservative party (which says it should be illegal)

My Gran and I had a huge arguement about this. Since our family is Christians, most of them are against it, because the Bible is against it. I on the other hand do not agree. I think people in a "gay" relationship are over steriotyped and should be given more credit. They choose to be who they are rather than try and be someone else so they fit in with the Goverments view of "normal". This itself is a wonderful thing. I think, they have as much right to get married as the normal marriage. We are meant to be living in a world of equal rights. How can we live with equal rights, if "gay" marriages aren't legalised by every country. This then leads us to another point. Should they be allowed to adopt? Well, a good point. Firstly, I think yes they should. Why? Because sure, the children might be teased by the kids at school because they don't fit into the "norm" but in turn the kids become more tolerant. I am not gay but I guess I have a sister with a disability makes me see things in a different light, because I know what it is like to not fit in with the "norm" that every government sets up. |

I think everyone should be treated equily and if theres someone with gay parents they shouldn't be teased but people do tease them and I think its because they are ignorant about gay people. Not alowing gay poeple to adopt children would be taking away their rights so that would definitally be mean :worried: |
