Well done Jan, I bet you were grinning from ear to ear after capturing the Kingfisher. That last photo is brilliant, lovely and sharp :clap3: .......I'm very :jealous: I've never managed to capture one that close. :grin:

It wast the first time I have seen a kingfisher so close,it was just lucky as soon as we got to the birdhide it was there sitting on a pole right outside and it stayed there for quite a while,great to see :cool3:

I really liked the earlier ones too especially the cute little tree spadgers :aww:
I thought the female mallard had horns too - had to zoom up the screen resolution a bit to see Mr mallard hiding in the undergrowth :girlygiggle:
