Super photos Andy :clap3: I can't advise on the bird as I can only tell the difference by the song but hopefully Dave will know.

There are lot a Chiffchaffs around at the moment, hard to see the colour of the legs, a Chiffchaff's are darker and it does have a white crescent under the eye so I would go for Chiffchaff..................but best see what Dave says

Lovely photos Andy :cool2:

I agree with Paula on Chiifchaff Andy.

The legs are quite dark whereas on Willow warbler they are more pink'ish. Also the primary projection of the bird in your photo is quite short,on Willow warbler it is 3/4 length as opposed to 1/2 distance. Primary projection is the distance between the tip of the tertial feathers and the tip of the primary feathers.

Failing all that what you need to do is get the little blighters to sing and then the problem is easily solved
