At Thirsk yesterday.

View from upstairs window at what used to be Kirkgate Vets

And the car that resides at the end of the garden

Posted Image

Shame someone had nicked the top off the clutch pedal!

Tranquil down by the river

Posted Image

And bustling Market Place

Posted Image

I could certainly live there. It is 33 years since I viewed properties there with the aim of living there and commuting daily to east Midlands where I worked. Instead I bought business premises much further north

:wow: :greatpic: Lovely views of Thirsk. Typical someone stole the clutch pedal, nothing is safe nowadays. Lovely photos of the fledglings.

Bat country is beautiful too. Shame you didn't see many birds.

:thanks: for posting

Trip to bat country today didn't produce much. Am on new tablets and have lost some of my shakes so these chaps were shot without a tripod with a 600mm telephoto

Brilliant photos PeppiB, :clap5:

That's good news about your new tablets, that will save you having to take your tripod around with you.

Your mobile takes brilliant photos too. :cool2:

:wow: Superb photos PeppiB :clap2:

So glad the new tablets are working well as the less "extras" one has to carry, the better - I always feel.

I agree with Marg, they are great photos from your mobile (something I've never really tried doing and I must find the transfer cable - which seems to have gone AWOL - before I do :giggle: )

Whilst rifling through my drawers, as men do, came across this blast from the past. A real rarity as seldom photographed
(the advert on the sweatshirt has been fragmented to protect the innocent)

This creature was spotted in this location in 1987
