NP - I never have the opportunity to rifle anyone else's drawers!

For anyone wondering - Hasselblad 500CM with 40 mm Distagon lens. Value in 1987 about 4 grand. Value now - not a lot!!

Back in 1955 a little lad held his mum's hand on the quay at Seahouses, watching as day trippers boarded boats and sailed away. I wanted to do that but father didn't do boats. Late wife didn't do them either, neither does OH. Today, however, 56 years later HL had no choice but to scramble down those steps and into the brilliant world that is the Farne Islands

Oh :wow: :wow: :wow: PeppiB!!!! You mayn't get out and about as often as you would like but when you do you play an absolute blinder!!!

What a fantastic set of photos. I have so many favourites but one which really stands out for me is the 4th photo in post 187 (the two Terns facing each other holding, I think, Sand Eels).

So glad the tablets are working  and I don't think I need to ask whether you had a good time after all those years of waiting ... but did Rachael enjoy it? (I sincerely hope the answer to that is going to be  )
