Love the Kittiwake chicks, not sure about the rear end deposits though! Poo! Super photos

I'm fascinated with Curlews at the moment as I'm seeing them everyday. Such a novelty! Gorgeous birds.

Jane - I walked HL under the Tyne Bridge the other day and she complained about the smell - promptly lifting her T shirt to cover her nose :scream: :HELP:

Thanks all. There is always plenty to see along there in the winter months when it is cold and wet, but nothing at all in the summer when it is usually warm, and wet.

Jen - there are loads of fish in there. As I was passing today, one of the fishermen gave me a large plaice he had just pulled out of the river. Shame I am allergic to most fish - but cleaner and her Mum will enjoy it. I couldn't manage to gut it anyway, and HL wouldn't even touch it!
