What a beautifully varied selection of photos, Peppi B. I think the strawberry dog has caught everybody's eye. I wonder if anybody has the time and energy to record all 60 of them. I'm not sure that I am very keen on the rat!

Rat photo has decayed and left the building.

Eric - if anyone had the time, it is possible to visit all the Snow Dog locations. Whether they are all reunited for the auction I'm not sure

It still looks like the middle of summer in your photos, PeppiB.

Ann - it is still fine and relatively warm (for these parts, southerners would class it as cold!) although today it is considerably cooler

More Snow dogs

The first one is 'Anonymous' - not surprising as it has almost no decoration

Second one is 'Toon' - guess why! Didn't look at the other names as it was rather busy around them

:thanks: peppi ... i like the flowery and the winter one . The dog in evening jacket ( is it) with red rose is a clever design .. just a bit angry looking  I'll stick to Strawberry Dog . Could you put a reserve on it and turn up on auction day ;)

You are doing well adding to the dog, Peppi. One a day and perhaps you will have done the lot by Christmas :o)

Thanks all

Ann/Jen - there is a towing hitch on the back of this big wheelchair!

Eric - there are 2 more in town I haven't got to yet - one outside Central Station, which was damaged the night before the exhibition officially opened - an appeal was put out for volunteers to repair it but I don't know if that happened - and one outside the Civic Centre. The others are spread throughout north and south Tyneside, Sunderland, and Gateshead. Gateshead centre may be a possibility as it is just the other side of the river, although I don't know my way around, especially wheelchair accessible areas. It is not unknown to go down a road only to find there is no lowered curb at the end of it and have to turn around

Dave - the lambs sound interesting

Not kidding Ann. There is a tow hitch to attach a trailer. It is USA designed and made and they do things differently over there. I have seen a photo of the trailer somewhere

The chair also has wiring installed for head and tail lights, direction indicators and hazard lights

Great photos PeppiB - I love the blue boats.

Those Snow Dogs are interesting - we have had something similar across Surrey called Cow Parade Surrey which had brightly coloured/decorated full size cows across the county.

A great set of photos peppiB which have really generated interest here :goodpost:

It sounds like there could be a fierce bidding war going on to get that Strawberry Dog ;)
