Great photos peppib..lovely Red grouse photo and wonderful to see you managed to get some images of the Red kite.

Val - these were taken in the high Pennines. The grouse was near a hamlet called Hunstantsworth, and the kestrel and red kite were adjacent to Derwent Reservoir. First time I have seen the kite in that area

Some brilliant sightings there peppiB. considering the awful weather conditions that you said you had, they're very good photos. :cool4:

It's really amazing what can be done using photoshop, I really must get on and learn about it, and then install it on my computer, it certainly looks worth it.

Really good photos. Lovely birds, I have never seen a dipper before either. I see what you mean about the fast flowing water. I suppose they must be used to it.
