Thanks again all. Eric - I have dozens more Puffin photos

Jen - on the Farnes the birds are everywhere. Puffins literally whizzing past your nose and Tern dive bombing you. As ground nesters they are very protective of their young. Early in the season when the eggs and young chicks are around you are not allowed to land

Thanks Dave and Paula

Some long time members know that when I was able bodied, old cars were my passion. Whist sorting the old photos I saw these and couldn't resist posting them for my sentimental value.

Buy 1 abandoned project from a deserted wife and then ...

Peppi, you made a marvellous job of that Morris Minor Traveller, still I prefer the birds and those Goldfinches are beautiful.

:wow: You did a fantastic job transforming that car Peppib :cool1:
A great selection of photos, I recognised a few from when you originally posted them, and I think I spotted a couple of Competition winner s in there that I can remember bring at the top of the page too  I especially love the Puffin shots :greatpics:

Wow, what a transformation. I dread to think of the cost though.

Julie - one of my competition winners is in there - the one that also won photo of the year. My other winner wasn't on PB. I think I still have a copy on a dvd somewhere, but no longer have any means of looking at it as this laptop is USB only, and the dvd drive on the old one is broken. I did buy a new drive but that doesn't work either!

Ann - I paid £500 for the car bits, £1100 for parts, including 'new' wood (it was actually new old stock dating from 1967 (dated from the paper it was wrapped in) and the car was 1968. I sold it for £5500

Right, back to birds

And the final one for now, the Puffin who wonders why he feels different after a visit to the vet!

Hey, that's a pretty good result then. Somehow I thought it would cost far more than you could ever get for it.

Poor Puffin, I had a pet Duck once with a prolapse but perhaps that's all I should say about that subject.

You did sterling work on the Traveller ... what a smashing vehicle . I see they cost an arm and a leg on Classic Cars for Sale :yep:

Thanks all.

Eric - yes the photos have been posted in the past using Photobucket and once PB demanded stupid fees for hosting they could no longer be viewed, hence the reposts
