It was Holkham park when we saw it Ann, I think it's spent the last couple of weeks moving from the reserve where the hide is to the Park across the road
Thank you Jan

That's funny, I'd assumed your photos were taken on the beach side of the road, Julie. I didn't get time to go in the park as well unfortunately, it was time for lunch by then and my belly was rumbling!

Brilliant photos Julie of a spectacular bird! you did really well to get anything at all considering how windy it was.

They are generally only found in the UK Eric when they have been blown over from continental Europe, classed as a scarce visitor, they often appear when there have been some easterly or south-easterly winds blowing our way.

brilliant captures , Julie .........and Dave , there was an alleged sighting of one up here at Loch Ardinning ,just north of me ....it must've had a hurricane up it's jacksy to make this far :Ha: .......or the reporter had never seen a Jay before :groan:

Excellent photos Julie.

Really good captures of the Grey Partridge, a tricky bird to see let alone photo. Love the capture of the Whinchat on the teasel head.
