A cracking set of photos Julie and some great species seen.

Lovely images of the Spotted Redshank, clearly showing it's much longer bill with a slight hook to the tip.

I'm not too sure what the Jackdaw made of the rat :lol:

The next set were from Sculthorpe Moor nature reserve, this was the first time we had visited the reserve in winter, the new tower hide had a bird table just inches away from the windows so we had some great close up views of the various birds.

Bramblings, at one point there was 15 outside the hide!

:wow: Those are wonderful photos Julie. It`s a fantastic hide isn`t it. I was so excited when we went at Xmas, all those birds so close, I couldn`t fail to get a great shot.......................then my camera packed in :tantrum:
We are going again in May, can`t wait :)

:yes: It's a brilliant little reserve Pam, that was the first time we had sat that side in the tower hide, on previous viists we have always sat on the other side looking out over the pool and reed bed. May will be a great time to visit :yes: we saw both Cuckoo and Turtle Dove there in May last year. :cool:
