Good choice by your wife! Avocets are beautiful Black headed gulls in summer plumage look best I think Can I borrow one of your Black cap pics for the spotting challenge and with the White-Fronted Bee Eaters and Barred Owl chick

I've just had a very enjoyable catchup right from the beginning Tim. ![]() what stunning photos. I loved the Flamingo at Slimbridge, but there again I would, as I go there quite a lot.

Thank you feedyourhedgehog. Living close to Salisbury Plain we are blessed with a good population of Corn Bunting, often seen in large mixed flocks with Yellowhammer, Chaffinch, Satrling and the odd Reed Bunting. Many people say they don't see these too often so I count myself very lucky and, as you say, their song is a treat to hear. |

A wonderful variety of birds Tim and fantastic photos, great sighting of the Short Eared Owl I think all the Owls are such lovely birds and make great photos for those lucky enough to get them. |
