Hard to pinpoint Jen, and depending on what sort of weather they have on the continent, they can usually be seen anytime from late November onwards, occasionally strays can be picked up earlier but not in any great numbers. Most waxwing sightings in a good year tend to be from December through to March/April.

Ah well , i'm sure the waxwings will have plenty of berries when they do eventually arrive Dave :cool: i don't suppose the blackbirds have been a threat in the past .
