I will be looking out for this one as well...i think macro shots of the flowers would turn out quite interesting.

Now this is something a bit special - trouble is I didn't realise it at the time and I'm REALLY REALLY annoyed I didn't get a better picture :notfair:

Looked it up and it is Narrow-leaved Lungwort (Pulmonaria longifolia) it is restricted to parts of the New Forest, Isle of Wight and East Dorset and this was is a wood near Beaulieu in the New Forest.

i haven't my books out at the moment .. is this a greater or lesser stitchwort , please . If it's lesser .. will it do for the challenge ... Dave , Grayling ........

......... and i've just forgotten the name of this (pinky) one ( 2nd pic) :doh: .. will that be ok as well for the challenge :cool1: and the little dandelion (3rd pic) .. and the very tiny forget me not (4th pic ) :thinking:

Jen, the first one is Greater Stitchwort, the second I'd go with Common Fumitory, the third is Groundsel and the fourth looks like a member of the Forget me not family but I wouldn't like to say which - those flowers look tiny, how big would you say they were? :thinking:
