More wild flowers from Long Hill - the Downlanders' latest task there was wandering through the meadows listing all the wildflower species we could find :happy:
.... and trying not to get too sidetracked by grasshoppers, crickets, butterflies, hornet, slow worms and the elusive adder - Tom says he's seen them up there - but they go AWOL when ever anybody with a camera is looking...... :grin:

Yes, it's turning out to be a very good year for that challenge, and for the insects. The moths challenge is lagging behind as is the bird one but there is still plenty of time for these to get a boost.
