Lovely captures Jen Posted Image I don't see many Thrushes either

I hear them sometimes but when they do come into the garden the Blackbirds chase them off :impatient:

wow ! thank you all for looking :clap4: . There is one particular area in the gardens at Rosemoor where i can be fairly sure i'll see them .... funny how they keep to that part and they don't always seem shy  I suppose if there's a chance that food may not be far away , they're prepared to risk it :yep:

I think Blackbirds are their greatest nemesis Jen.

We have been on the back garden and stood in close proximity to a Song Thrush, they don't appear to be that bothered by a human presence, but as soon as a Blackbird appears they are off like a bullet!

:thanks: I hadn't realised that , Dave .......but that could certainly be right . It's a very large area of lawn , backed by shrubs and a corridor of woodland . There are rooks and a couple of blackbirds but way over to the left of the area ... i never see them mingle .

The other place i see thrush is directly infront of said area but across a few paths , again with shrubs and a few trees behind but no other birds  I've see two together in that area
